Ellie Tesher is a respected advice columnist. Her internationally syndicated column, "Ellie," was launched in September 2002. Readers quickly warmed to her wise and witty answers to life's problems. Her column now appears in more than 30 newspapers across Canada and the United States.

Ellie has a personal perspective on the problems that families bring to her, having grown up with a depressive mother. Ellie is happily married to her second husband, journalist Vian Ewart. They enjoy a family of five adult children and frequent surprises.
